Customs and Trade Consultancy is a consulting boutique firm founded in 2016, with a wide range of clients across industries, including consumer goods, life sciences, automotive, manufacturing and supply chain. We are advising our clients from a customs & trade technical perspective as well as from an operational perspective. Our clients comprise of large multinationals as well as mid-size companies and projects have included specific challenges relating importing and exporting products, obtaining and managing customs authorisations (incl. cross border authorisations), Brexit, global trade impact assessments as well as process & controls improvement plans.

Our main office is in London, but we also have an office in the Netherlands.

Job description

We have an immediate need for a customs consultant with a minimum of 5 to 8 years of previous customs experience in either a consultancy capacity or industry environment. The position requires an up-to-date knowledge of customs topics such as customs warehousing, classification, valuation and origin and is able to translate this technical knowledge into practical advice to our clients.

The customs consultant will have a client facing position and is confident to liaise with customs authorities on behalf of our clients. Having experience with customs audits and AEO is an advantage.  

The position will also be involved in technical and operational research deliverables, as well as delivery of customs training to our clients.

The customs consultant will report to the Managing Director and closely liaise with our more junior supporting staff.
